The Government of Serbia has decided to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine to eliminate the aftermath of the Kakhovka HPP destruction by Russian forces.

“The Government of Serbia will send a new package of humanitarian aid to Ukraine for overcoming the humanitarian disaster in the Kherson region,” the report says.
It is noted that the assistance for Ukraine will be in the form of goods and medicines from the Directorate for Commodity Reserves and goods from the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration.
The government also adopted a conclusion approving temporary protection for the reception of citizens of Ukraine affected by the situation in the Kherson region.
It was also announced that as an additional form of support, with the funds of the Government of Serbia, a sports-rehabilitation camp will be organized during the summer for the youth and children’s teams of FC Dynamo Kyiv football academy.
As reported, the Russian army blew up the Kakhovka HPP dam on the night of June 6. Following the explosion, the law enforcement officers launched an investigation under the article on ecocide. Ukrhydroenergo hydropower generating company stated that the Kakhovka HPP is completely destroyed and cannot be restored.
