The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in June rose 21% year-on-year, reaching 196,815, the statistical office said on Monday.
Turkey was Serbia’s biggest feeder market in June with 21,524 tourists, up 95.4% on the year. Citizens of Bosnia followed with 15,613 tourists, up 5.5% on the year. Visitors from Russia came in third, up 69.5% at 14,251.
The number of domestic tourists decreased by 8.7% on the year in June, to 175,820.
