Discover the 24 Incredible 8-Letter Countries



The world is home to 195 different countries. They have various sizes, cultures, populations, and names. Some of the names are very short, like Chad, while others are fairly long, like the United Kingdom. In the pursuit of ordering countries by names, we’re going to look at the 8-letter countries from around the world. Discover the names of countries that have only 8 letters and find out where they are located, how many people live there, and more!

Obviously, we are going to use the common version of the country’s names in English, and they certainly would not be the same in another language.

24. Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a country in southern Africa. The nation is bordered by Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa, and Zambia. The Republic of Zimbabwe, the official name, is landlocked. Roughly 15,178,957 people live in this country, and its capital is Harare.
