On July 12, it has been revealed that Czech Airlines Technics has signed a new partnership to cover Air Serbia’s maintenance needs.

This article will cover the details surrounding the new Air Serbia partnership with Czech Airlines Technics and what maintenance they will be carrying out for the Serbian flag carrier.

The new partnership between the Czech maintenance operator and Air Serbia will see Czech Airlines Technics carrying out the maintenance for the entirety of Air Serbia’s fleet.

This maintenance will consist of carrying out the repairs and overhaul of the wheels and brakes on the Serbian flag carrier’s Airbus A330s, Airbus A320s, Airbus A319s and ATRs.

Air Serbia currently operates two Airbus A330-200s, three Airbus A320s, 10 Airbus A319s, and six ATR 72-600s. They also operate one Embraer E190 aircraft, however, this is leased from Greek operator Marathon Airlines and is not included as part of this new maintenance agreement.

Commenting on their new partnership with Air Serbia, Martin Mintěl, Head of Components and Spares Division at Czech Airlines Technics has said, “We are so excited to be a right hand in Air Serbia’s growth strategy.”

“We have been cooperating for many years so this is another huge milestone of our strong cooperation and common path. Our expertise and reliability perfectly match with Air Serbia’s high requirements for component maintenance and therefore signing a contract was just a natural outcome”
