The forum brings together a wide range of participants from civil society, relevant national authorities of EU countries, and EU institutions.
This year’s edition, entitled ‘Migrants in Europe today: specific needs, skills and communication for stronger inclusion‘ will address how to identify and support migrants and refugees with specific needs, examine public attitudes and communication on migration and inclusion, and discuss sustainable labour market integration.
Participation in the forum meeting is by invitation only, and the call for interested civil society organisations – as previously shared on EWSI – is now closed. Participating organisations were selected based on the relevance of their activities and expertise to the topic of the meeting, and the selection procedure ensures both a balanced geographical representation among participants and a diversity of fields of expertise, activities and types of organisation.
